The Wugong Mountain Ski Resort is a showcase of the space truss structure’s versatility and strength by us. For a project of this size in a mountainous area, the choice of 3D truss was a key design decision. It allowed us to create a large open space for a modern resort building and meet the structural and safety requirements of the location.
Our team provided full support during the design phase, using advanced structural analysis software to model and optimize the entire spatial truss system. We were able to create a beautiful roof that not only provides long span for the resort but also blends with the surrounding landscape. This project proves that a deep understanding of space frame structures and their principles can lead to a functional, cost effective and beautiful result.
